This is my absolute fav way to shoot family sessions. I love my families to choose an activity they love doing. And I simply tag along an get some beautiful shots of real moments. Of course we do a couple of posed photo's of the sam together, but even they don't need to be perfect. Cause the RAW moments are just way better...

I absolutely love to learn new skills and improve my photography. One of the best ways to do this is with mentoring sessions. They can either be 1 on 1 or group training types sessions. Either way the are a great benefit because you can learn whats important to you, and concentrate on the areas you wish to improve on.
For me, learning how to create a connection between a couple, especially when they are a little uncomfortable in front of the lens, is really important. This can make or break a session. If the couple look awkward, then the photos will reflect this.
