On a beautiful afternoon in late April, Michelle and James tied the knot in Canberra. It was a gorgeous day shared with many loved ones. I only got to spend a few hours with this gorgeous little family but that was enough to se how full their hearts were for each other.

I absolutely love to learn new skills and improve my photography. One of the best ways to do this is with mentoring sessions. They can either be 1 on 1 or group training types sessions. Either way the are a great benefit because you can learn whats important to you, and concentrate on the areas you wish to improve on.
For me, learning how to create a connection between a couple, especially when they are a little uncomfortable in front of the lens, is really important. This can make or break a session. If the couple look awkward, then the photos will reflect this.
My latest session was with the amazingly talented Alana from Alana Taylor Photography. And boy was it a production session.
